Mori Babourian story

My name is Morvarid, a proud Persian woman whose soul has been dancing since childhood. From the earliest moments I can remember, dance wasn’t just something I loved — it was the way I lived, breathed, and grew.

I was raised in a community where access to ballet or formal dance training in childhood was not available. But that didn’t stop me. In my teenage years, I discovered the powerful world of high heels dance, and that’s when my journey as a professional dancer truly began. I found myself in heels. The style, the strength, the femininity — it felt like home.

I dedicated years of my life entirely to dance. I traveled across countries and continents in search of training, inspiration, and experience. I spent countless days and nights in professional dance camps, absorbing everything I could. And through it all, one thing was clear: my mission.

I believed — and still believe — that the knowledge and passion I gained must be shared. Especially with Persian dancers back home who don’t have easy access to professional training. So I began teaching. Through workshops and classes, I’ve been able to pass on what I learned and help empower a new generation of dancers in my city.

Over time, I proudly became one of the first Persian dancers in my hometown to direct and produce large-scale dance performances, bringing dancers onstage and helping them fulfill dreams that once felt impossible. I watched those dreams come to life, and I knew — I had done something that mattered.

After immigrating to beautiful Australia, my mission didn’t end. I completed my formal dance education at Village Nation College, and after graduating, I had the honour of performing on stage alongside talented Australian dancers. Those performances became a new source of pride — bold, powerful, unforgettable moments that shaped me even more.

And now, it’s time for a new chapter.A new brand is being born — a dream I’ve nurtured for years. A brand that will help make my biggest vision come true:

To make dance accessible to everyone, everywhere — so that no one has to dream alone.No matter their background, limitations, or past, every person should feel free to dance.

This is my story. But really, it’s just the beginning.
